6 Weeks Mindful Living Course
Scientific research has shown that after a short period of time engaging in meditation practice, our brain will have formed new neural pathways, fundamentally changing the way we relate to our inner experience and the world around us.
Mindful Living
In this 6-week course we will learn a range of meditation techniques that will help us to relate to all aspects of our inner experience in a different, more skillful way.
Areas covered in this course include
How to meditate - we will incorporate a range of meditation techniques
Scientific evidence - exploring the benefits science shows will come from meditating
Thoughts, feelings and emotions - how they really do control us
Stress responses - understanding the process of stress
Our default settings - looking into our auto pilot way of living
Not only will this course help us to manage any disturbing emotions, or an over thinking mind, but we will also learn to take control of our stress and anxiety.
During this 8-week program we will develop an understanding of the functions of the mind, how and why it ‘reacts’ the way it does, and how we can move from instinctual, knee-jerk, autopilot ways of living, to an aware and present way of being.
